Author: jcThis bay has been wonderful. Except for the western swells that rock the boat at night, it’s been just about perfect. The water is clear and warm. There is a village at each end of the ten mile bay (north and south). The islands in the middle have rocks to snorkel around.
But we’ve spent 3 days here longer than scheduled, so after making a town run this morning, we’re going to have to say good-bye and head on down the coast. Next stops are Careyes (a cove with million dollar homes) then Tenacatita Bay, a large Bay with resources we need, I hope. Fuel is still OK, but water would be nice. After that is Navidad Bay, and Manzanillo, a real port.
There were brightly colored shells on one of the islands, purple and redish orange on the inside.
